Packaging Machine Operator

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate sealing machines including heat sealers and side-sealing equipment, managing temperature, speed, and pressure settings to ensure optimal function.
• Perform quality inspections of packaged goods to detect faults like poor seals, wrinkles, or misalignment, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards.
• Manage setup tasks such as loading raw materials like film rolls or tape, carry out routine maintenance, and resolve minor mechanical problems.
• Adhere strictly to factory safety protocols, utilizing proper protective gear at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including output counts and equipment performance details.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of high school education or an equivalent qualification.
• One to three years of hands-on experience within manufacturing or packaging roles.
• Fundamental mechanical skills sufficient for equipment adjustment, specification reading, and basic troubleshooting.
• Physical capability to stand throughout extended shifts and handle lifting of materials or packaged products safely.
