Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate and guide overnight stocking operations following priorities laid out by the Overnight Assistant Manager and daytime leadership.
• Evaluate merchandise displays and store presentation, identify any shortcomings, and implement necessary merchandising or display adjustments to meet store standards.
• Manage defective or damaged merchandise ensuring proper identification and transfer to the claims room consistent with company protocols.
• Take charge of store safety and security during overnight shifts in the absence of the Overnight Assistant Manager, including handling incidents per company guidelines.
• Conduct inspections of designated store areas to verify security and safety compliance.
• Contribute to training and developing overnight associates to boost productivity, performance, and achievement of operational goals.
• Demonstrate schedule flexibility by being available for varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to help maintain smooth store operations and consistent customer service.

Challenges Associated with the Role

• Maintain focus and energy while managing a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment effectively.
• Efficiently manage extended overnight work hours and plan for sustained productivity.
• Handle physically demanding duties such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory or equipment up to 20 lbs routinely, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and product organization tasks consistently to uphold store standards.

Compensation
