Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Summary

The Over-the-Counter (OTC) Associate plays a key role in assisting customers within the OTC department, ensuring the assigned section is properly organized and maintained. This position involves following the guidelines set by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager, keeping displays neat, and delivering outstanding customer care while upholding Walmart's Basic Beliefs and values.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with the Privacy Act.
• Support maximizing sales and profitability under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Manage product stock by rotating inventory and discarding expired items.
• Maintain zoning and cleanliness of the OTC department.
• Execute proper procedures for ordering, clearance, price adjustments, signage, and labelling.
• Maintain a neat, obstacle-free environment by removing fixtures, debris, foreign items, and liquids.
• Ensure accurate pricing with zero errors by adhering to scanning credibility protocols.
• Calibrate equipment involved in the prescription filling process.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.

Compensation

The position offers a starting hourly wage of $18.40.
