Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter Associate plays a crucial role in assisting customers, ensuring that their assigned department is well organized and properly maintained. This role includes supporting tasks delegated by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager and continuously delivering outstanding customer service aligned with Walmart's core values.

Core Responsibilities

• Protect patient confidentiality by strictly adhering to all Privacy Act regulations.
• Enhance department sales and profitability under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Regularly rotate stock and monitor product expiration dates to maintain inventory quality.
• Keep the department organized, clean, and free from clutter through effective zoning.
• Follow established procedures related to order management, clearance, price adjustments, and accurate labeling.
• Ensure the department remains neat, free of unnecessary fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Prevent pricing errors by adhering to the Scanning Credibility Program.
• Calibrate equipment involved in prescription processing to maintain operational accuracy.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.90 per hour.

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
