Role Purpose and Overview
The Outsourcing Senior Analyst will join the Enterprise Risk and Resilience team to support the execution and maintenance of the outsourcing framework. The position encompasses conducting risk assessments, monitoring vendor performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), maintaining governance documentation, and ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards including EBA, CBI, FCA, MAS, and RBI within the financial services sector.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee ongoing risk assessments of outsourcing providers to evaluate potential risks.
- Continuously monitor outsourcing agreements to detect and address compliance gaps and risks.
- Track, analyze, and report KPIs related to outsourcing provider performance.
- Maintain and periodically update the central outsourcing register with current information.
- Assist in incident management by gathering data and supporting resolution efforts.
- Keep meticulous and comprehensive records of all outsourcing-related activities.
- Conduct regulatory mapping to identify applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support the integration of regulatory changes into existing outsourcing frameworks.
- Identify gaps in internal controls and help develop remedial measures.
- Prepare risk reports, summaries, and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Assist with regulatory submissions and interactions with supervisory bodies as necessary.
- Participate in broader Enterprise Risk & Resilience initiatives as assigned.
- Draft, review, and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and governance documents related to outsourcing.
- Ensure that all documentation aligns with internal frameworks and regulatory expectations.
- Support audit and regulatory review processes by providing necessary documentation promptly.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports on outsourcing risks and performance analytics.
- Analyze data to detect trends, assess risks, and propose improvements.
- Contribute information and insights for management reporting and presentations.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
- Three to five years of professional experience in risk management, third-party risk management (TPRM), compliance, outsourcing, or regulatory functions.
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent organizational skills.
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments and tracking KPIs/KRIs.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining policies and procedural documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms and data visualization tools.
- Good knowledge of financial services regulations and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on effective execution of tasks.
- Excellent communication abilities and skills in coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Mandarin language skills are considered a strong plus.
