Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers efficiently by loading their purchases into vehicles safely and promptly
• Obtain customer signatures on load out tickets to confirm transactions
• Conduct loading operations from store to vehicle ensuring a smooth shopping experience
• Maintain the outdoor merchandising area by following established guidelines to ensure consistent and shopper-friendly presentation
• Price products accurately to facilitate customer purchasing
• Keep parking areas, shopping cart corrals, and other designated spaces clean and orderly
• Organize and zone outside merchandise areas like load lanes, nurseries, bullpens, and sidewalks during available times
• Use standard office devices (phones, copiers, fax, calculators, computers) and retail equipment (Telxon guns, forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders)
• Participate in cross-training initiatives for flexibility across departments
• Engage in training sessions, workshops, and webinars to enhance skills and stay updated with industry practices
• Provide courteous, proactive support internally and to customers, addressing questions and issues promptly

Qualifications and Requirements

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to listen actively and respond clearly
• Proven decision-making abilities and sound judgement in a professional setting
• Strong adaptability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Familiarity and comfort using in-store computer systems, scanning devices, and wireless handheld technology
• Physical capability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Experience operating ladders, pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Clear and professional verbal communication with all individuals, including via radio devices
• Good close-up vision to perform computer-related tasks
