Role Overview

The OTC Sales Trader will be responsible for managing client relationships primarily within Southeast Asia on the institutional OTC desk. This position involves overseeing daily quoting activities by junior staff, serving as the primary liaison among clients, the desk team, and management. The role focuses on sales and maintaining client engagement, with technical trading experience considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for OTC clients, managing communications and quotations via chat.
• Oversee and assist junior desk personnel who execute daily quoting tasks.
• Act as the main management liaison for all desk activities.
• Develop and nurture relationships with counterparties including brokerages, treasury desks, payment providers, and fintech companies.
• Ensure smooth and reliable desk operations during Southeast Asian market hours.

Candidate Profile

• Background in client-facing sales or relationship management within finance sectors such as brokerages or banking treasury/ brokerage desks.
• Excellent communication skills with capability to manage client relationships end-to-end.
• Solid knowledge of financial products, trading mechanics, and execution processes.
• Willingness and ability to work during Southeast Asian trading hours.
• Highly organized, dependable, and able to take ownership of processes and team execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies, digital assets, or foreign exchange markets.
• Technical experience or a background in trading.
