Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time OTC Sales Assistant to be stationed on-site in Dublin. This role involves assisting customers in choosing suitable OTC medications, health items, and daily pharmacy products. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, addressing product inquiries, sharing product details following pharmacy protocols, and managing transactions at the register. Maintaining clean, well-organized shelves and displays with correct pricing is essential. Collaboration with pharmacists and other team members is required to uphold store procedures and health and safety regulations, ensuring a pleasant and efficient shopping experience.

• Clear and professional communication abilities to convey accurate product information and respond to inquiries.
• Sales aptitude to assess customer needs, suggest appropriate OTC products, and assist with promotional activities.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, maintain orderly displays, and multitask effectively.
• Prior experience in retail, pharmacy, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of IT and point-of-sale systems, with accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
• Physical capability to stand for long durations and perform light manual tasks in line with safety standards.
• A proactive attitude towards learning about pharmacy products, adherence to compliance protocols, and working collaboratively within a team environment.
