About the Role
KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP is seeking a knowledgeable OT Security Specialist to enhance our clients' operational technology security measures. Key Responsibilities
- Work with leading IoT platforms and collaborate with IoT solution providers.
- Manage and secure ICS/OTN/SCADA systems including UNIX and PLC host network configurations.
- Develop and program RTU and PLC microcontrollers.
- Handle diverse ICS software such as OSI PI, Camstar, and MSMQ message queuing technologies.
- Design and integrate PCN networks and SCADA systems including control implementations.
- Implement and configure communication protocols like Modbus, ROC, PCCC, BSAP, OPC, and APIs applicable to industrial environments.
- Ensure ICS infrastructure safety and control compliance.
- Configure and deploy ICS network security devices including firewalls, routers, IDS, and IPS.
- Utilize VAPT tools relevant to SCADA environments, such as Modscan, PLCInject, Samurai STFU, mbtget, smod.
- Understand and apply IoT communication protocols such as WirelessHART, Zigbee and integrate with network protocols.
- Conduct security analysis and propose protective measures for firmware, hardware, radio, and conventional IT components.
- Design or analyze IoT architectures effectively.
- Engage with clients to identify IoT opportunities, develop business cases, and contribute to proposal formulation alongside technical architects.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate with a technical degree.
- Background in cybersecurity, IoT security, or familiarity with embedded system security frameworks.
- Strong understanding of embedded system architecture and design.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Linux environments, Git, AWS, DevOps practices, BurpSuite, Wireshark, Monicom, Moserial.
- Hands-on experience with Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms.
- Knowledge of communication protocols including Zigbee, WirelessHART.
- Understanding of OAUTH, Manufacturer Usage Description (MUD), RFID tags, Electronic Product Code (EPC), NFC, Bluetooth, and Z-Wave technologies.
- Experience across the IoT device lifecycle: provisioning, commissioning, and remote management.
- Familiarity with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) concepts.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Information
This role is based in Bengaluru, India and offers a salary range between 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 INR annually. The candidate is expected to have excellent client interaction capabilities and a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
