OT Cybersecurity Solutions Manager

Job Overview

The OT Cybersecurity Solutions Manager is responsible for leading the creation, positioning, and deployment of Operational Technology cybersecurity solutions. This includes supervising technical development, supporting pre-sales, and ensuring scalable, competitive offerings that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise technical development related to OT cybersecurity products and services.
• Evaluate and approve proofs-of-concept and design customized solutions tailored to project and site specifications.
• Guide technology and vendor selection processes.
• Manage technical aspects of proposals, RFP responses, and tenders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support technical workshops, presentations, and customer interactions during pre-sales phases.
• Oversee site surveys, risk assessments, and the smooth transition from proposal to project execution.
• Collaborate with project teams for efficient system integration and resolve complex technical challenges during implementation.
• Maintain relationships with OT cybersecurity vendors, approve tools and platforms to align with client requirements.
• Lead and develop technical, engineering, and pre-sales teams; identify competency gaps and promote cross-functional collaboration.

Leadership and HR Responsibilities

• Recruit, identify, and nurture high-performing talent to build a strong management bench.
• Address underperformance with guidance or dismissal as necessary, maintaining equitable treatment for all subordinates.
• Ensure delegation of authority matrices align with company policies.
• Assume full responsibility for operational deliverables and proactively address potential issues.
• Make timely and sound decisions to meet targets for quality, cost, and deadlines.
• Translate corporate goals into actionable business plans; monitor performance, implement corrective actions, and report progress.
• Manage budgets to optimize cost efficiency.
• Develop organizational structures and maintain clear job descriptions tailored to current and future needs.

• Create and maintain documented systems, policies, and procedures while exploring automation opportunities.
• Encourage adoption and proficient use of relevant IT solutions and automated systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Software Development or a related field.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience.

Technical and Functional Skills

• Expertise in marketing and sales strategies relevant to OT cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in sales forecasting, market research, customer relationship management, and change management.
• Experience in sales planning.
