Position Overview
The Organization Development (OD) Specialist role is dedicated to enhancing organizational efficiency, employee performance, and workforce capability through various OD initiatives. This position supports organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and employee engagement programs, ensuring all efforts are aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in crafting and executing Organization Development strategies and programs in line with corporate objectives.
- Contribute to organizational structuring activities including assessment of charts, job roles, reporting hierarchies, and control spans.
- Perform organizational analyses and recommend improvements for workflow and efficiency.
- Support workforce planning and manpower analyses focusing on headcount and workforce structure adjustments.
- Help develop and update job descriptions, families, levels, and competency models.
- Assist with job evaluation and grading to maintain role consistency across the organization.
- Support implementation of performance management frameworks encompassing KPIs and objectives.
- Contribute to talent and career development initiatives, including succession planning and competency growth.
- Gather and interpret workforce data to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Prepare comprehensive OD reports, dashboards, and presentations to aid management decisions.
- Support employee engagement efforts and action plans derived from survey results.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and functions to align OD activities with business needs.
- Participate in organizational change efforts and related change management communications.
- Maintain comprehensive OD records such as organizational charts and related HR data.
- Ensure all OD practices comply with company policies and HR standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, or related disciplines.
- Professional certifications in HR or OD are advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of organizational design, workforce planning, job evaluation, performance management, and HR analytics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with HR systems and data analytics tools is beneficial.
- Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Experience
- 2 to 4 years handling roles in Organization Development, Human Resources, Workforce Planning, Organizational Design, or Performance Management.
- Experience in sectors like Aviation, Aerospace, Defense, MRO, or Engineering is highly regarded.
- Practical experience supporting organizational structure, workforce planning, job descriptions, job evaluation, and performance initiatives.
- Experience working with HR systems and performing workforce data analysis is preferred.
