About the Role
The Lana - Dorchester Collection in Dubai invites applications for the position of Order Taker in the In-Room Dining department. As an Order Taker, you will be a vital part of delivering impeccable service, becoming a key member of a team that prides itself on exceptional guest experiences and extraordinary hospitality traditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily functions of the In-Room Dining service to guarantee an outstanding guest experience.
- Warmly welcome guests calling in for orders, provide detailed menu information, recommend dishes, and promote additional menu items to enhance satisfaction.
- Maintain the outlet's immaculate condition and ensure that all service standards are rigorously followed by the team.
- Train and mentor waitstaff to ensure their knowledge is comprehensive and that guests receive exemplary assistance.
- Uphold the values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Teamwork, and Creativity in daily operations.
- Monitor and aim to exceed revenue targets, while managing all costs, such as beverage expenses, within designated budgets.
- Participate in daily team briefings to stay informed on hotel events and service updates.
- Coordinate with other departments to maintain exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and upkeep of all equipment, furniture, fixtures, and flooring.
