Oracle Technical Consultant (Oracle EBS & Fusion Cloud)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Technical Consultant with deep hands-on expertise in both Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud (SaaS & PaaS). The chosen candidate will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and ongoing support of scalable Oracle ERP solutions that align closely with business needs, Oracle best practices, and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and maintain technical solutions spanning Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud platforms.
• Develop custom enterprise applications and extensions utilizing Oracle Forms, Reports, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Workflow, Advanced Metering Extensions (AME), BI Publisher, and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
• Author and optimize database objects such as packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and write performance-optimized SQL and PL/SQL codes.
• Design and build reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, and analytics platforms.
• Plan and implement integrations between Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Cloud, and external third-party systems leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Gateway, REST APIs, SOAP web services, and Oracle Process Cloud Service (PCS).
• Handle data migration and conversion projects through tools and methods like FBDI, HDL/HSDL, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and ETL techniques.
• Utilize and configure Oracle Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) including OIC, VBCS, Redwood UI customization, and related cloud technologies.
• Engage actively in project lifecycles covering requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Work closely with functional consultants to ensure comprehensive Oracle ERP solution delivery.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including Technical Design Documents, deployment procedures, test plans, and support manuals.
• Adhere strictly to Oracle development guidelines, architectural principles, and security best practices.
• Resolve complex technical problems, improve system performance, and drive continuous enhancements.
• Support various stages of implementation, upgrades, rollouts, and production support efforts.
• Lead technical sessions, mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and encourage adherence to development best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with business users, project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to achieve project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant Oracle technical certifications covering Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or other related Oracle technologies.

Experience Requirements

• 6 or more years of proven experience in Oracle ERP technical development and consultancy roles.
• Strong practical background working with both Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud (including SaaS and PaaS).
• Track record of managing implementation, rollouts, upgrades, system enhancements, integrations, and production support projects.
• Hands-on involvement with at least three comprehensive Oracle Cloud implementation projects.
• Experience in enterprise application integration and Oracle solution architecture development.

Technical Expertise

• Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud platforms.
• Oracle Forms, Reports, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), and Oracle APEX.
• Oracle Workflow, Advanced Metering Extensions (AME), and BI Publisher.
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), and Oracle Process Cloud Service (PCS).
• Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), SOA Gateway, and Redwood UI customization.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming abilities, including database performance tuning.
• Java programming.
• Web services expertise including REST APIs and SOAP.
• Data migration tools and approaches such as FBDI, HDL/HSDL, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, Projects, and Human Capital Management (HCM) modules.
• Enterprise system integration and Oracle cloud architecture design skills.
• Agile and Scrum methodology familiarity.
• Technical leadership, mentoring, and effective communication with stakeholders.
