Job description
Overview
The Oracle & BI Specialist is tasked with creating, sustaining, and enhancing reporting tools and dashboards within Oracle Fusion Cloud. This role addresses diverse business reporting needs spanning Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Human Resources departments by leveraging Oracle-specific reporting utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and upkeep of reports and dashboards using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) for modules including Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Human Capital Management.
- Creation of BI Publisher reports that encompass data modeling, SQL dataset formulation, template design, report bursting, scheduling, and implementation of automated distribution mechanisms.
- Collaboration with business units to capture reporting needs and translate them into dependable, actionable report solutions.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a similar discipline is required.
- At least 3 years of practical experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud report development is essential.
- Proficiency in SQL coupled with a solid understanding of Oracle Fusion data schemas and related subject matter areas.
