About the Store
The Ballina location boasts a team of 16 staff members including Resident Optometrists and a Lab Manager. It offers audiology services on select days and functions as a spoke store to Letterkenny. The store was recently rebranded in November 2024, equipped with the latest technology through a project boost initiative.
Role Description
The incoming Optometry Partner will collaborate closely with a seasoned Retail partner who has been active since the store's inception. The candidate must prioritize customer and team welfare, exhibit effective leadership, embrace change, and be eager to elevate the store's performance. Responsibilities include inspiring and guiding the team, fostering staff development and career growth, and becoming a key community leader to enhance business expansion and customer engagement.

Ballina is a picturesque market town located conveniently between Sligo and Castlebar. Known for its variety of independent shops, cafes, pubs, and vibrant nightlife, it offers a family-friendly atmosphere with a strong commuter presence and seasonal tourist influx.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold qualification as a CORU-registered Optometrist
- Demonstrate passion for maintaining a customer-centric culture and high professional standards
