About the Role
Join Specsavers at their Shellharbour location as a valued Optometrist and be part of a team that prioritizes innovation and expert eye care. You will work across two established stores within a strong, collaborative optometry team, equipped with advanced technology, serving a diverse regional community. Your role will involve a clinical focus on myopia control, contact lenses, orthokeratology, and dry eye management, contributing to a rewarding and varied practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye care and vision testing using modern equipment including OCT scans, Humphrey Field Analyser III, auto-phoropters, and non-contact tonometry.
- Manage a broad patient demographic including retirees, families, and pediatric patients with focus areas such as myopia control and dry eye treatment.
- Support community health by promoting eye care awareness and participating in outreach programs.
- Engage in career development through mentorship, clinical specialization, and leadership pathways up to Senior Optometrist roles.
