Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive OPT Recruiter specialized in US IT staffing to join our talent acquisition team. This role involves sourcing, assessing, and placing international students primarily on OPT/CPT visas into relevant job openings across different sectors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication capabilities, strong relationship-building skills, and a foundational knowledge of U.S. immigration and work authorization processes.

Core Responsibilities

• Identify and source candidates on OPT/CPT visas using job portals, social media, referrals, and university networks for US IT roles including W2, 1099, and C2C engagements.
• Screen and shortlist applicants based on technical skills, visa eligibility, and communication proficiency.
• Guide candidates on job market insights, resume crafting, and interviewing strategies.
• Handle a significant volume of IT staffing requirements from direct clients and implementation partners.
• Maintain accurate candidate databases and tracking systems.
• Develop and nurture robust relationships with both candidates and clients.
• Ensure adherence to US staffing protocols and visa regulations, including OPT, CPT, STEM OPT, and fundamental H1B guidelines.
• Monitor candidate progress throughout recruitment and onboarding.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 1 to 4 years of experience in US IT staffing, focused on hiring OPT/CPT candidates.
• Deep understanding of the US recruitment lifecycle and tax classifications such as W2, C2C, and 1099.
• Practical knowledge using job portals including Dice, Monster, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
