Operator, Production

About the Role

The position of Production Operator at dsm-firmenich, based in Daman, India, is critical to maintaining high standards in production processes. The role demands adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory protocols while actively contributing to the company's mission of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out various production tasks including compounding, filling, cleaning, posting, and charging raw materials as well as managing CYC stock control.
• Ensure compliance with material instructions following process orders, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory mandates.
• Confirm availability of raw materials before commencing compounding activities.
• Monitor production timelines, enforce safety measures, and uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment such as the hot box, deep freezer, stacker, automatic filling machine, and Clean-In-Place (CIP) system.
• Maintain a production environment compliant with GMP, food safety, hygiene, and safety standards to preserve audit readiness.
• Implement safety guidelines diligently in daily tasks ensuring a safe and compliant work atmosphere.
• Align activities with the organization's strategy and goals, focused on meeting defined key performance indicators (KPIs).

About You

• Minimum educational qualification ranging from Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) complemented by ITI, Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), AOCP, Diploma in Chemical, or Graduation.
• Professional experience ranging between one to two years in a relevant production environment.
• Basic computer literacy with comprehension of business terminologies.
• Exhibit curiosity, acute observation skills, openness to ideas, and strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate within teams.
