About the Role

Higgins Green Team in Hawke's Bay is seeking a versatile Operator to join their Construction Division. This role involves working on a variety of plant and civil construction projects with a requirement to assist in labouring tasks when needed. The ideal candidate possesses wide-ranging operating experience in a roading or construction environment.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Operate machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, rollers, loaders, watercarts, brooms, and bobcats efficiently across multiple project types.
• Hold a full Class 1 and WTR license; possession of Class 2-4 licenses is advantageous.
• Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting the team’s varied tasks.
• Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety standards for self, coworkers, and the public.
• Possess basic computer literacy to assist with job requirements.
• Be reliable, flexible, and ready to work in diverse weather conditions.
