Operator / Field Service Technician

About the Role

An international Oil & Gas firm based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait is looking to hire a qualified Field Service Operator / Technician. The main focus of this position involves servicing field instrumentation installed at wellheads, ensuring high standards of operation and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee site activities including installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing technical support for company equipment and instrumentation.
• Compile detailed technical reports utilizing the company's proprietary software tools.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Instrumentation or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Hindi, Tamil, or Tagalog/Filipino is considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with computer systems and common office software such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet browsers.
• Demonstrated manual skills alongside a practical, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
• Capability to work in challenging outdoor environments, including desert locations and offshore platforms.
• Willingness and ability to travel to and remain overnight at oilfield sites as needed.
• Strong collaboration skills and capacity to deliver clear and accurate feedback on service tasks completed.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret technical documentation and schematics effectively.
