Role Overview
The Operations Support Officer position, located in Lusaka, is a full-time role responsible for supporting operational activities linked to filling stations and solar energy projects. This includes facilitating seamless coordination among teams, partners, and customers, monitoring operational performance, managing service requests, tracking inventory and supplies, and maintaining comprehensive records and reports. The role contributes to process enhancements, addresses customer inquiries, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Collaboration with operations management is essential to implement efficient workflows and uphold dependable clean energy services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong operational support and management expertise to oversee daily activities and ensure service consistency.
- Analytical abilities to assess operational data, pinpoint problems, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Effective communication and customer service capabilities to engage stakeholders and address inquiries positively.
- Organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency with office software such as spreadsheets and documentation tools.
- Experience within energy, infrastructure, or service operations sectors, particularly in Zambia or the surrounding region, is advantageous.
- A relevant diploma or degree in operations management, business, engineering, or similar fields is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Lusaka, collaborate within a multicultural team, and uphold health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
