Job Overview
As an Operations Support Agent at FedEx Australia, located in Bundaberg, Queensland, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth handling and internal movement of consignments within the depot. This position requires meticulous sorting and labeling to guarantee packages reach the correct delivery zones efficiently and precisely.
Key Duties
- Safely handle and relocate all shipments internally within the depot environment.
- Accurately label and categorize consignments according to their designated delivery areas.
- Collaborate effectively within a team framework to achieve prompt turnaround times.
- Complete essential administrative and operational tasks supporting front-line operations, such as data entry, ramp activities, and dispatch processes.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum educational attainment is completion of secondary school or its equivalent.
- At least two years of relevant experience is preferred; however, no previous experience is necessary for associate-level roles.
- Senior-level applicants should possess a minimum of four years of applicable work experience.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities paired with effective problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated capacity for planning, organizing, and maintaining high accuracy with great attention to detail.
