Operations Manager - Norwich

About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee our contract with ASHI (Anglian Safestyle Home Improvements) at our Norwich location. The role focuses on managing transport operations effectively by coordinating drivers and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Building lasting relationships with stakeholders is essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities ensuring full compliance with company and customer requirements.
• Control and optimize costs to meet or surpass operational budget goals while pursuing continuous improvements.
• Motivate and manage depot drivers, site managers, and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Champion health and safety policies by leading initiatives to foster and enhance the safety culture at the site.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Holder of an international CPC certification with a strong emphasis on compliance.
• Experience managing transport operations involving a large driver workforce.
• Proven experience in engaging closely with customers to maintain positive working relations.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a salary up to £49,500 annually, including a car allowance and bonus structure.
