Job Overview
The Operations Executive will be responsible for supporting and managing daily activities related to freight and logistics operations. This role focuses on overseeing shipment coordination, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, tracking operations, and ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate shipment movements from initial collection to final delivery stages.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, clients, suppliers, airlines, shipping companies, and other service providers to guarantee smooth shipment execution.
- Ensure thorough preparation and maintenance of shipment-related documentation.
- Monitor shipment statuses and provide prompt updates to all involved parties.
- Detect and swiftly resolve any delays, discrepancies, or issues affecting operations.
- Verify that all operational tasks adhere to company standard operating procedures and industry regulations.
- Assist in preparing quotations, job files, and operation reports as needed.
- Keep detailed records of departmental processes and shipment data.
- Look for ways to optimize operational workflows and contribute to enhancing process efficiency.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in live event logistics, freight forwarding, or cargo operations.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics for live events and the importance of meeting strict timelines.
- Proven ability to manage complex shipments with time-sensitive demands.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
