Job description

About the Role

This role involves overseeing the daily functions of an e-commerce store operating on Salla and Zid platforms. The specialist ensures product listings are accurate, inventory is up-to-date, marketing campaigns are effectively implemented, and order fulfillment runs without issues to boost online sales performance in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the online store by uploading, updating, and maintaining product information including descriptions, prices, stock levels, and images on Salla and Zid.
  • Continuously monitor store uptime, user experience, and site layout for both desktop and mobile versions.
  • Track and audit inventory in real time through platform dashboards to avoid stock shortages, especially on popular products.
  • Reconcile stock counts, identify slow-moving items, and notify management regarding restocking needs.
  • Develop, launch, and manage promotional activities such as flash sales, discount codes, and bundled product offers.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and collaborate on digital marketing initiatives like abandoned cart recovery and discount banners to enhance sales.
  • Manage order processing by coordinating with warehouse and fulfillment teams to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
  • Supervise integration with courier and delivery services (e.g., Aramex, SPL, SMSA) and address any shipping delays or returned items.
  • Respond to online customer inquiries including refunds, exchanges, and tracking questions.
  • Analyze customer feedback and complaints to recommend improvements to site features and checkout processes.

Candidate Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of practical experience managing e-commerce stores, inventory, and marketing within Saudi Arabia.
  • Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or IT-related field.
  • Proficient in operating on Salla and Zid platforms.
  • Skilled in using platform app store integrations, local payment gateways, Google Analytics, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Capable of managing high daily order volumes and maintaining precise inventory control.
  • Strong collaboration skills to coordinate with marketing, logistics, suppliers, and customer service teams.
