Role Overview
As a OneStream Operations Specialist within the Group Control OneStream Team, you will ensure the ongoing management and improvement of the OneStream platform, a critical tool for financial consolidation, reporting, and planning across the organization’s international divisions. Reporting to the FP&A Systems Manager, you will drive data quality, governance, and platform stability while supporting vital financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary helpdesk contact for OneStream end-users, addressing incidents and fulfilling user requests promptly.
- Oversee daily monitoring of data loads, consolidation procedures, and workflow executions.
- Provide vital support during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings along with forecasting and budgeting cycles.
- Administer user accounts, security roles, and access permissions within the platform.
- Execute minor system adjustments such as configuration changes and metadata updates to maintain platform accuracy.
- Manage maintenance of cubes, dimensions, and data mappings.
- Assist in software releases, upgrades, and testing to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Monitor and ensure high data quality standards and perform financial reconciliations as necessary.
- Oversee integration of OneStream with external source systems including ERP platforms.
- Identify, analyze, and rectify data inconsistencies to ensure dependable financial reporting.
- Propose and implement practical improvements by automating repetitive tasks and standardizing templates and procedures.
- Train and support users while collaborating closely with Finance and IT teams for issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
- Document solutions, best practices, and workflows to enhance organizational knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or closely related field.
- Possess between 3 to 6 years of robust experience working with the OneStream platform.
- In-depth understanding of financial consolidation, reporting, and planning processes.
- Combine strong finance acumen with IT knowledge, particularly in data integration and modelling.
- Familiarity with consolidation rules and accounting standards such as IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
- Experience managing change and release processes effectively.
