Job description
Position Summary
As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Canada, you will develop important skills working in a fast-moving retail environment. Your main duty is to accurately pick, pack, and prepare online orders while prioritizing quality and customer satisfaction, all under established safety and food cleanliness standards. Your efforts contribute directly to ensuring a smooth online shopping experience, helping foster customer confidence and loyalty. This role is ideal for individuals interested in customer service or retail careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully select and assemble customer orders from various temperature zones, verifying product types, quantities, and codes to confirm accuracy and support on-time deliveries.
- Maintain product integrity by choosing fresh, high-quality items and removing any damaged goods. Accurately complete the necessary paperwork and labels including pick slips and shipping information.
- Efficiently pack orders ensuring optimal use of packing space while upholding safety and quality standards.
- Balance order fulfillment with excellent customer service, assisting customers and resolving issues as they arise.
- Adhere strictly to food hygiene and workplace safety protocols, maintain cleanliness, promptly address spills, and operate equipment safely while conducting required safety checks.
- Demonstrate flexibility by being available for varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support smooth store operations.
Work Environment Challenges
- Manage high-volume workloads in a fast-paced setting effectively, especially during overnight shifts by planning to remain alert and focused.
- Perform physical tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting inventory or equipment weighing up to 20 lbs regularly, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Complete repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail including stocking, zoning, and organization to maintain store standards.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this role is $15.50 CAD.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
