Role Purpose

As an Offshore Structural Engineer within the Asset Based Services Business Line’s Offshore Structural Engineering department, you will contribute to the structural design of jackets and topsides.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute technical tasks assigned by the Project Structural Lead including structural analysis, calculations, design work, verification, and specialized studies, ensuring all outputs meet accuracy, project needs, and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other specialists and designers to share information, clarify technical points, and facilitate coordinated project delivery.
• Coordinate and review technical tasks done internally and by external parties, offering guidance and ensuring alignment with project goals and engineering best practices.
• Support preparation of technical documentation such as reports, specifications, and design deliverables, maintaining quality standards and adhering to deadlines.
• Ensure engineering work complies with company procedures, international codes, and safety regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Educational Qualification: Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Ideally 1-2 years in offshore engineering projects.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and finite element method (FEM) analysis software is preferred.
