Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee plant maintenance including routine, preventive, and emergency repairs for electrical equipment such as transformers, Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB), Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), low and high tension panels, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial-grade heavy motors.
• Manage power distribution systems ensuring balanced electrical loads, promoting energy efficiency, and sustaining uninterrupted power across production units and solvent storage facilities.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for electrical and automation system failures to reduce repetitive downtime in vital production lines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) by maintaining thorough electrical logbooks, documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Implement and uphold safety protocols, particularly related to hazardous areas requiring explosion-proof or flameproof equipment, and adhere strictly to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will possess a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering, with knowledge and experience in electrical maintenance and breakdown management in industrial settings.
