Role Overview

The Odoo Specialist will oversee the management, configuration, and enhancement of the Odoo ERP system to facilitate various operational functions such as service management, inventory control, sales, and invoicing. Responsibilities encompass gathering business requirements, customizing process workflows, deploying additional modules, and maintaining data accuracy throughout the platform. The position requires providing user training, diagnosing and resolving functional and technical problems, liaising with external vendors or developers as necessary, and producing documentation to support operational procedures and system configurations. Collaborating closely with management and technical teams, the specialist will drive improved operational efficiency, enable integration of Odoo with existing software tools, and support the reporting and business intelligence efforts. This is a full-time role based at the company's location in Jamaica.

Candidate Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in configuring and customizing Odoo ERP modules such as CRM, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, and Helpdesk.
• Strong experience in analyzing business processes, gathering detailed requirements, and translating these into effective Odoo workflows.
• Knowledge of fundamental database concepts, including data migration techniques and system troubleshooting in collaboration with technical teams.
• Ability to deliver end-user training, produce clear and comprehensive documentation, and provide ongoing functional support for the ERP and associated tools.
• Familiarity with ICT service environments, particularly in repair services, ticketing systems, and customer support workflows.
• Proven communication and collaboration skills, facilitating cross-departmental cooperation and support for users without technical backgrounds.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive mindset toward continuous process enhancement.
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related disciplines is advantageous.
• Prior experience in ERP implementation or maintenance within small to medium enterprises is preferred.
