Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Engineer specialized in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Financial Crime and Compliance Management (FCCM) to join our team on a contractual basis in Qatar. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions and supporting critical financial crime compliance applications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create, configure, and maintain ODI data integration workflows and interfaces.
- Develop and manage ODI components such as mappings, packages, procedures, scenarios, and load plans.
- Support ETL/ELT processes for efficient data transfer between source and destination systems.
- Configure and maintain Oracle FCCM applications, handling modules like AML, KYC, Case Management, Customer Screening, and Transaction Monitoring.
- Conduct data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting activities to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, batch processes, and data loads; promptly address any production issues.
- Develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL queries, and Oracle database procedures.
- Identify and resolve issues related to ODI, FCCM, database, and integration environments.
- Collaborate closely with application, database, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve incidents.
- Assist with deployments through development, testing, UAT, and production stages.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational support manuals.
- Engage in performance tuning and continuous enhancement of ODI and FCCM processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle FCCM.
- Strong skills in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.
- Solid background in ETL processes, data integration, and data warehouse concepts.
- Familiarity with FCCM data structures and financial crime/compliance workflows.
- Experience managing batch processing, job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix scripting environments.
- Experience in banking or financial services sectors.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), release management, and production support practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle FCCM versions 8.x, 9.x or newer.
- Knowledge of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA).
- Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Server, Java, and app server environments.
- Background in implementing AML and KYC initiatives in banking.
- Understanding of REST and SOAP API integrations within enterprise environments.
- Skills in performance tuning and handling high-volume data processing.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Possession of Oracle certifications in ODI, FCCM, OFSAA, or Oracle Database technology will be a plus.
