Functioning under the NDIS framework, the organization’s team comprises accredited experts in mental health, disability support, and family services, led by social worker Jacqueline Law. Primary offerings include NDIS support coordination at Levels 2 and 3, psychosocial recovery coaching, and counseling, all delivered through a person-centered and inclusive model.

Role Overview

The position of Occupational Therapist is a full-time hybrid role based in Geraldton with flexible work-from-home options based on client and service demands. Responsibilities encompass assessing the functional capacities of clients, creating and carrying out tailored intervention plans, and delivering occupational therapy services grounded in evidence to enhance independence in daily activities, community involvement, and meaningful engagement.

This role includes close collaboration with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to organize NDIS-funded supports, maintain progress documentation, and generate detailed reports and recommendations. In addition, the therapist will perform home and community visits, administer rehabilitation programs, and aid in psychosocial recovery planning, while ensuring compliance with professional and NDIS standards and maintaining precise clinical records.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid expertise in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation focused on creating client-focused interventions.
• Knowledge of medical and health concepts relevant to disabilities, functional assessments, and evidence-based methodologies.
• Strong communication capabilities involving accurate documentation, report preparation, and teamwork with clients and professionals.
• Experience or a keen interest in pediatrics and assisting children and youth with disabilities or developmental challenges.
• Possession of recognized Occupational Therapy credentials and current registration or eligibility with professional bodies such as AHPRA.
• Familiarity with NDIS processes, person-centered practices, and trauma-informed or recovery-focused approaches.
• Capability to work independently within a hybrid setting, effectively handling caseloads, and performing local travel for home and community visits.
• Holding or ability to acquire a valid driver’s license, Working With Children Check, and other relevant clearances is highly preferred.
