Position Overview

We are searching for a driven and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our expanding full-time team. This role involves delivering client-specific therapy across diverse demographics, including pediatric and adult populations, with the goal of encouraging active participation in daily activities.

Key Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients within their natural environments, including homes, educational institutions, workplaces, and community locations.
• Create and apply personalized therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Provide continuous therapy interventions to foster functional independence and help clients achieve their goals.
• Work collaboratively with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective care plans.
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation and progress tracking consistent with NDIS and professional guidelines.
• Modify therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of varied client groups and settings.

Candidate Profile

• Holds qualifications as an Occupational Therapist with a valid and current AHPRA registration.
• Possesses a solid understanding of occupational therapy methods and rehabilitation processes.
• Familiarity or experience with the NDIS system is preferred.
• Interest or prior experience in pediatric therapy is considered a plus.
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of effectively working autonomously in community environments.
• Holds a valid driver's license and has dependable transportation.
• Additional skills in assistive technology or mental health are advantageous.

Compensation

The role offers an annual salary of $78,000 plus superannuation benefits.
