Nursing Instructor

About the Role

MITRA Home Healthcare seeks a part-time Nursing Instructor/Clinical Trainer to educate caregivers in hands-on home-care techniques. The role involves delivering weekly 4-hour in-person training sessions for small groups of caregivers or nurses at the Bengaluru location.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured training sessions utilizing MITRA’s curriculum and materials.
• Provide practical demonstrations on patient positioning, transfers, mobility aid, bed-baths, hygiene, diaper management, feeding, vital signs monitoring, and other basic patient care tasks.
• Educate caregivers on elderly care, dementia care, fall prevention, infection control, and emergency identification.
• Instruct caregivers in accurate patient care documentation procedures.
• Perform practical demonstrations and supervise return demonstrations along with competency evaluations.
• Identify and correct unsafe caregiving methods to ensure confident and safe execution before caregiver deployment.
• Conduct post-training assessments and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Uphold professional training standards and prioritize patient safety at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational qualification of GNM or BSc Nursing is mandatory; candidates with BSc/MSc Nursing or prior experience as a nursing tutor, clinical instructor, or trainer are favored.
• Strong foundational nursing knowledge with the capability to simplify clinical concepts.
• Proficiency in English, Kannada, and Hindi languages is required.

Additional Information

• Work schedule entails one weekly training session lasting around 4 hours.
• Compensation per session ranges from ₹1600 to ₹2000, dependent on experience.
• Training is conducted onsite in Bengaluru.
