Nursery Teacher

About the Role

We seek a dedicated, innovative, and compassionate Nursery Teacher to join our preschool team. This role focuses on providing a secure and stimulating learning atmosphere for young learners while nurturing their overall growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning activities that are appropriate for the age group and centered around engaging experiences.
• Effectively apply the established preschool curriculum in daily teaching.
• Lead storytelling sessions, rhymes, music, arts and crafts, sensory play, and other creative tasks.
• Facilitate development of language, communication, motor skills, as well as social, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
• Introduce foundational concepts in pre-reading, phonics, pre-writing, and early numeracy.
• Ensure effective classroom organization and maintain discipline.
• Track and evaluate children’s educational progress and developmental milestones.
• Keep accurate documentation including lesson plans, activity logs, student portfolios, and assessment data.
• Maintain all aspects of child safety, hygiene, and welfare within the classroom.
• Engage with parents professionally to communicate children’s progress.
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, school events, training sessions, and other institutional activities.
• Collaborate closely with fellow teachers and school administrators.
• Adhere strictly to school policies, procedural standards, and child protection guidelines.

Qualification and Eligibility

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Preferred qualifications include ECCE, NTT, or Montessori certifications.
• Prior experience in preschool or nursery teaching is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates with relevant credentials are welcome to apply.
