Nurse

Overview

The Nurse will collaborate closely with oncologists, chemotherapy nurses, and hospital personnel to administer scalp cooling treatments accurately, counsel and support patients throughout therapy, monitor comfort, and maintain precise treatment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive assistance to patients undergoing EVA Scalp Cooling treatment during chemotherapy sessions.
• Clearly explain the scalp cooling process, expected outcomes, advantages, and safety measures to patients and their caregivers.
• Counsel patients before their initial session and continue providing support for follow-up sessions.
• Observe patient comfort levels throughout pre-cooling, chemotherapy administration, and post-cooling phases, addressing any concerns professionally and referring clinical issues to medical staff.
• Properly fit the scalp cooling cap according to prescribed protocols and ensure the cooling system reaches the necessary temperature for treatment.
• Adhere strictly to pre-cooling, cooling, and post-cooling schedules outlined for each patient's chemotherapy plan.
• Inspect equipment and accessories prior to each session, reporting any malfunctions or damage promptly.
• Manage cleaning, storage, and handling of EVA equipment following the prescribed procedures.
• Coordinate with oncologists, nurses, and hospital day-care staff to facilitate timely treatment sessions and appointments.
• Maintain effective communication between the hospital team and supportive oncology services.
• Keep meticulous patient and treatment records, including enrolment, session details, discontinuations, and consents.
• Submit required daily and weekly reports within deadlines.
• Follow hospital and Stemtech SOPs, infection control protocols, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional appearance and conduct.
• Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement activities.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Must hold a GNM or ANM nursing qualification; valid nursing registration preferred.
• Experience in oncology, chemotherapy daycare, ICU, or hospital nursing is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Open to both experienced nurses and fresh graduates with strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a hospital environment.

• Ability to adhere strictly to treatment protocols and SOPs.
• Effective time management and professional discipline.

Compensation

This position offers a monthly salary ranging between 20,000 to 25,000 INR.
