Role Overview

The full-time Notary Public position is based onsite in Mogadishu. The appointed professional will be responsible for verifying identities, witnessing signatures, and notarizing numerous legal documents in adherence to relevant laws. Daily duties encompass reviewing and preparing legal documents, maintaining thorough notarization records, and advising clients on notarization processes. Collaboration with legal consultants concerning family law and other legal matters is essential, alongside preserving client confidentiality and professionalism. Additionally, staying informed on updates to legal and regulatory frameworks affecting notarial duties is required.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Solid legal background with knowledge in Family Law and associated legal areas.
• Expertise in notary procedures including authentication of documents, witnessing signatures, and meticulous record maintenance.
• Experience in drafting and preparing precise, compliant legal documents.
• Capability to conduct legal research to interpret and remain updated on regulatory changes.
• Possession of relevant certification or authorization to function as a Notary Public per local law.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality.
