Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable Non CDL Driver to join our team for local delivery routes centered in Fife and the greater Seattle area. This full-time position involves operating a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate, ensuring residential and commercial deliveries are handled with care and professionalism. Drivers will benefit from steady work, a consistent schedule with home daily routes, and weekly pay.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate a 26’ box truck equipped with a lift gate safely and efficiently across multiple delivery stops.
  • Complete between 15 and 20 multi-stop deliveries per day involving furniture, appliances, medical equipment, and other consumer products.
  • Handle touch freight deliveries by loading and unloading items using equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and lift gates.
  • Provide light assembly and place deliveries inside customers' homes as needed.
  • Deliver a professional white glove customer service experience at every stop, maintaining clear communication and courteous interaction.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Starting pay rate is $25 per hour, working primarily day shifts.
  • Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays.
  • Typical start time is 8:00 AM, with reliable local routes that allow the driver to be home daily.

Candidate Profile

  • Ideal candidates have experience in commercial moving, furniture delivery, appliance installation and delivery, medical equipment routes, final mile or e-commerce box truck driving, or have transitioned from larger regional or national fleets to local delivery.
  • Should have at least 12 months of documented box truck driving experience within the past five years.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and preferably a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to safely lift and handle freight is required.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential.
  • Applicants must meet all applicable background and screening requirements, including holding a current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
