Job Summary
Join the award-winning team at The Maritime Hotel, a distinguished 4-star venue located on The Quay, Bantry, County Cork. We seek a committed full-time Night Porter to deliver a welcoming and dependable presence for guests overnight. This essential position involves working night shifts, including weekends, with occasional day shifts to ensure continuous hotel operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide warm, attentive, and efficient service by anticipating and fulfilling guest needs with genuine hospitality.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs during night hours with accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist guests comprehensively with luggage, directions, and a variety of enquiries.
- Support guest requests in the lobby, including organizing transportation and amenities.
- Maintain optimum hotel and guest security through regular patrols and prompt response to any issues.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a friendly, proactive demeanor capable of working autonomously while delivering excellent service.
- Exemplify strong communication and problem-solving abilities to manage diverse situations calmly.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is advantageous and reflects a commitment to guest satisfaction.
