Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all overnight hotel financial transactions are accurate, complete, and comply with policies.
• Conduct nightly audits by reviewing, balancing, and reconciling revenues from rooms, dining outlets, banquets, spa, recreation, adventure park, and other revenue sources.
• Verify integrity of room rates, postings, allowances, adjustments, paid outs, and rebates.
• Balance cash, credit card payments, city ledger accounts, and accounts receivable postings, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and share detailed end-of-day and night audit reports, including revenue, trial balances, credit card and revenue reconciliations, and financial management reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and secure records while ensuring adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Report any financial irregularities or suspicious activities to management immediately.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments for clarification on revenues.
• Reconcile monthly POS, guest ledger, deposit ledger, accounts receivable ledger, interface reports, and general ledger entries.
• Perform weekly spot checks on all outlets and cashiers.
• Assist with monthly reconciliation of revenues, third-party payables, guest ledger, deposit ledger, accounts receivable ledger, and staff tips and incentives to support month-end closing.
• Complete all assignments by the Senior Income Auditor accurately and within agreed timeframes.

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite position located in Doha, Qatar at Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara. The role involves critical financial oversight during overnight operations ensuring smooth transition to the next business day.
