Job description

About the Role

Join Sharpist as we revolutionize coaching in the DACH region. Having secured 30 million euros in funding and partnered with major companies like Porsche, RWE, and IKEA, we are rebuilding our sales organization from scratch. As a Sales Generalist, you will live and breathe sales, starting either as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or, if experienced, as a Relationship Manager overseeing existing clients.

What You Will Learn

  • Within one week: Master our Ideal Customer Profile, understand buyer personas, customize CRM for lead management, and deliver your first solution-based sales pitch.
  • Within one month: Own your sales pipeline, prepare deal and pipeline reviews, excite clients with strategic coaching projects, and craft impressive custom pitch decks.
  • Within three months: Celebrate your first closed deals, share weekly learnings to improve sales strategies, and take pride in your hardworking approach supported by a healthy work-life balance.
  • Within six months: Achieve sales quotas with deals exceeding 100k, advise contacts on effective employee behavior change, and represent Sharpist at major events like trade shows and webinars.
  • Within a year: Either take on leadership roles within Sharpist contributing to one of the most significant startup turnarounds or move on to start your own business supported by Sharpist and its investors.

Expectations from You

  • Accountability: Deliver on your commitments reliably and stay organized; attention to detail appreciated.
  • Proactivity: Engage actively in projects and communicate openly if challenges arise.
  • Delivery: Be a doer who acts decisively rather than hesitating.
  • Care: Strive for excellence because you care deeply about the mission.
  • Speed: Quickly absorb information and submit error-free applications promptly.

Essential Requirements

  • Fluent German language skills to align with our clients.
  • High school diploma (Abitur) required; degrees in psychology or statistics preferred over business studies.
  • Prior experience in sales or accounting is welcomed but not necessary; we encourage career changers.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Berlin or at client locations to collaborate closely with the team and customers.

Recruitment Process

  • Encouragement for candidates from all backgrounds and orientations to apply.
  • Initial CV screening by CEO.
  • Screening call with the CEO.
  • Functional fit interview with two team members.
  • Final cultural fit interview with two team members.
  • Optional reference checks.

Additional Notes

We embrace a "non-violent directness" culture. If you find this listing challenging or are curious, you may schedule a discussion with our CEO to learn more. We value honest feedback and transparency.
