About the Role

Navabharat, Central India's leading Hindi daily newspaper since 1934, is seeking a skilled Newspaper Designer to enhance the visual storytelling of its six editions across Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Chhindwara, and Satna. This role demands a professional with a keen eye for Hindi and English typography and excellent layout capabilities.

Primary Duties

• Design and assemble daily newspaper pages in Hindi with focus on visual clarity and reader engagement.
• Work closely with editorial staff to transform content into visually appealing layouts.
• Develop infographics and visual representations to support news stories.
• Ensure consistency across typography, grid alignment, and overall design patterns.
• Efficiently produce layouts under tight deadlines, especially for breaking news.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 1 to 5 years of design experience, preferably within publishing environments.
• Expertise in software like QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong capabilities in designing infographics and presenting data visually.
• Thorough knowledge of Hindi and English typography and design standards.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven newsroom atmosphere.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a refined visual aesthetic.
