New Graduate Software Developer

About the Role

IXL Learning, a global leader in educational technology with products used by millions, is seeking passionate New Graduate Software Developers to join the Integrations team in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will build essential tools that enable seamless integration between IXL and large school districts' technology systems, enhancing the educational experiences of students and teachers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a broad array of standardized and customized integration solutions and internal tools, optimizing development workflows.
• Select and apply the most effective technologies to enhance product features.
• Create and implement data exchange protocols and collaborate on prototypes with product managers and external partners.
• Operate within an agile, fast-paced setting to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions on schedule.
• Contribute to advancing and standardizing IXL’s technical integration processes and participate in conceptualizing a future-generation integration platform.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a bachelor's or higher degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts.
• Proficient in Java or another object-oriented programming language.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Familiarity with Java, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, React, Linux, and Git is advantageous.
• Driven by a passion for enhancing education through innovative technology.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this full-time position is between 90000 and 92000 CAD, complemented by a benefits package. Compensation levels are influenced by position, experience, location, skills, and education.
