Network Operations & Optimization Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking to hire a seasoned Network Operations & Optimization Engineer responsible for managing, troubleshooting, fine-tuning, and enhancing networking infrastructure in a live enterprise environment. The candidate should demonstrate deep proficiency in enterprise network operations, advanced problem-solving, routing and switching, network security, and up-to-date data center technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor enterprise network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Maintain high network availability, performance standards, and reliability for continuous operation.
• Implement network configuration changes following strict Change Management protocols.
• Engage in advanced troubleshooting and conduct Root Cause Analysis for network incidents.
• Handle configuration and troubleshooting tasks involving routing, switching, and Quality of Service (QoS) technologies.
• Support architectures designed for high availability and network redundancy systems.
• Assist in network capacity planning and optimization initiatives.
• Work extensively with technologies such as SD-WAN, VXLAN-EVPN, Spine-Leaf Architecture, Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), 802.1X authentication, Network Access Control (NAC), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) integration.
• Resolve complex production-level incidents and provide escalation support from a technical perspective.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation on network configurations and operational processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 8 years of direct, practical experience managing enterprise-level networks.
• Possession of active CCNP certification in Enterprise, Data Center, or Security domains.
• CCIE certification holders will be considered highly favorably.
• Proven experience operating and supporting networks within high-demand production environments.
• Expert-level knowledge in routing and switching technologies.
• Strong understanding of QoS mechanisms, high availability configurations, and network redundancy techniques.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis for network problems.
• Hands-on experience with current enterprise networking and security technologies.
