Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a Network Engineer with between 1 and 4 years of experience working within enterprise IT environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive practical skills in managing network infrastructure including switches, Wi-Fi devices, security appliances, and network segmentation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and troubleshoot various network components such as managed switches, Wi-Fi access points and controllers, unified threat management (UTM) firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and LAN/WAN setups.
Deploy and maintain virtualized server environments using platforms like Proxmox, including server setup, performance monitoring, backup routines, and network-attached storage (NAS) management.
Support Windows and Linux server environments by applying standard security hardening measures and ensuring reliable backup processes.
Required Qualifications
The candidate must have 1 to 4 years of practical experience in network or systems engineering within an enterprise setting. Certification credentials such as CCNA, CCNP, or MCSE are advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong written and verbal communication capabilities coupled with a proactive and solution-focused approach to resolving IT challenges are essential.
