About the Role

Join one of the world's leading IT and business consulting firms based in Chennai to design, build, test, and deliver C# and .NET framework-based applications and APIs for insurance-related platforms such as policy management, claims handling, and underwriting.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices and cloud-native solutions, utilizing event-driven architecture in support of Cardif’s digital transformation initiatives.
• Refactor existing codebases and conduct code reviews to maintain high software quality.
• Enhance application performance, diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring critical systems maintain a 99.9% uptime.
• Collaborate closely with technical leads and backend developers to maintain alignment and quality across development efforts.
• Define and maintain operational control frameworks for business processes within assigned responsibilities.
• Manage risks daily, including identification, evaluation, monitoring, and proposing mitigation strategies in the respective domain.
• Uphold coding standards, enforce security practices, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as GDPR and Solvency II.

Additional Contributions

• Work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and assist in effort estimation.
• Engage actively in Scrum ceremonies, provide updates, and bring technical insights.
• Offer support across different team functions like testing or analysis as needed.
• Share knowledge through sessions and provide ad-hoc support to management or product owners as requested.
• Participate in 24/7 collaboration during any production incidents, helping with diagnosis and implementing fixes.
