About the Internship

Join Assetcues Solutions Private Limited as a .NET Development intern to assist in creating backend services, APIs, and business logic utilizing C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core frameworks. This role involves developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, validating request-response cycles, and supporting backend integrations. You will leverage AI-driven coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Visual Studio, and VS Code to enhance development efficiency, debugging, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities also include writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database logic for SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases. You'll participate in integrating large language models (LLMs) and AI tools into practical software applications and collaborate closely with the development team to convert product needs into scalable backend architectures. Engaging in code reviews, version control with Git, pull requests, and troubleshooting backend issues focusing on performance and maintainability is also part of the role.

Clear documentation of APIs, technical choices, AI integrations, and workflows is expected to facilitate internal use and knowledge sharing. Your contributions will help build scalable, impactful user-facing applications that blend backend engineering with AI capabilities.

Candidate Eligibility

Applicants must be residents of Pune and available for a full-time, in-office internship lasting six months, commencing between September 28, 2026, and November 2, 2026. Candidates should be pursuing Computer Science Engineering and have relevant skills and passion for backend development, particularly with AI-enhanced software engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong enthusiasm for .NET backend development and applying AI tools in software projects.
• Proficient knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, C# basics, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Acquainted with AI-assisted coding workflows, prompt-driven development, and agentic coding processes.
• Ability to effectively use AI tools while critically analyzing code quality, logic, and security.
• Practical experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases.
• Comfortable working within Git-based collaborative environments.
• Excellent analytical skills, debugging capabilities, and a detail-focused mindset.
• Preferred: experience developing projects involving AI, LLMs, machine learning, natural language processing, or full-stack applications using coding assistants.
• An added advantage includes exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong preference for candidates committed to a lasting career in backend and AI-driven product development.

Stipend and Perks
