Position Overview
This full-time, on-site Nanny role is based in Abu Dhabi and involves daily care and supervision of children within a private residence. Key duties include securing children’s safety, engaging them in age-appropriate activities supporting early development, and enforcing a consistent daily schedule. Preparing simple, child-friendly snacks and meals, assisting with feeding, and aiding children in personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing are also essential. The nanny will organize playtimes, facilitate reading and educational games, accompany children to external activities, and maintain cleanliness in children’s spaces.
The role requires close collaboration with parents or guardians, adhering to their instructions, maintaining confidentiality, and providing regular feedback on the children’s well-being and progress.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience and confidence in childcare, including babysitting and routine care.
- Understanding of early childhood development principles and ability to promote learning through play and structure.
- Basic culinary skills focused on preparing safe, healthy meals and snacks for children.
- Competence in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment while managing children's daily activities.
- Possesses patience, empathy, and effective communication skills with both children and adults.
- Previous nanny or equivalent household childcare experience is preferred.
