About the Role

Maaloomatiia Academy is seeking a proficient n8n Developer to architect and sustain automated workflows and integrations enhanced with AI capabilities. The position focuses on streamlining operations by leveraging workflow automation, API connectivity, and generative AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and fine-tune automated workflows within the n8n platform to optimize business activities.
• Develop custom nodes using JavaScript or TypeScript to extend workflow functionality.
• Utilize APIs such as REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, and OAuth2 for seamless system integrations.
• Apply generative AI tools including OpenAI and Azure OpenAI to implement intelligent automations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable, automated processes.
• Ensure workflow security, reliability, and optimal performance.
• Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms in n8n environments.
• Diagnose and resolve automation-related issues promptly.
• Document workflows, integration processes, and underlying system logic comprehensively.
• Support deployment tasks, cloud infrastructure setup, version control, and regular system updates.
• Adhere strictly to data protection and security standards throughout development and deployment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated expertise with n8n or comparable automation platforms such as Make or Zapier.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for creating custom workflow components.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, authentication protocols, and JSON data manipulation.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience deploying applications using Docker containers and cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex workflow issues.
• Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently and efficiently.

Education and Additional Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Practical experience integrating generative AI platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, or HuggingFace.
• Ability to develop AI-driven workflow automations for use cases such as text creation, summarization, classification, and chatbot development.
• Knowledge of Python programming for AI-related scripting or model integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Experience in building custom Software as a Service (SaaS) integrations.
