n8n Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced n8n Developer responsible for creating and managing automated workflows, integrating APIs, and enhancing organizational processes with Generative AI capabilities. This role requires expertise in n8n platforms combined with strong JavaScript/TypeScript programming and familiarity with AI tool integrations to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize automated business workflows using n8n.
• Create custom workflow nodes utilizing JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Link diverse systems through APIs including REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, and OAuth2 protocols.
• Apply Generative AI automation solutions using platforms such as OpenAI and Azure OpenAI.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into effective, scalable workflows.
• Ensure workflow designs maintain security, high stability, and efficient performance.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and error management frameworks within n8n workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve automation-related problems promptly.
• Document workflows, integration logic, and system configurations comprehensively.
• Handle deployment activities, cloud environment configuration, version control, and updates for n8n environments.
• Adhere strictly to data protection guidelines and security standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable hands-on experience with n8n or comparable automation platforms such as Make or Zapier.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, particularly for workflow customization and node development.
• Hands-on knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication schemes, and JSON processing.
• Experience with database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and cloud services including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Capability to independently manage concurrent projects.

Educational Background

Possession of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is mandatory.

Additional Experience and Preferred Skills

• Proven expertise in integrating Generative AI services such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, or HuggingFace.
• Experience designing AI-driven automation workflows including text generation, summarization, classification, and conversational bots.
• Python programming knowledge is beneficial for AI model handling or auxiliary scripting.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub.
• History of developing tailored SaaS integrations.
